At our staff meeting yesterday it was decided that in future, all mobile phones brought to school must be handed up to the teacher who will store them for the day in a secure place. The phone will be handed back to the child at going-home time. Please think carefully about whether your child really needs to bring a phone to school, especially if he / she is being collected.
I would also ask you all not to drop your children off at school (or allow them to make their own way to school) before 8:40 a.m. We are concerned about children being left unsupervised on the public road, in some case for long periods. This is simply unsafe. Please try to get your child to school sometime between 8:40 and 8:50.
