Winter Fair – Sunday, 22nd November

Hi all,

A reminder that the Winter Fair is happening next weekend, so in this wet weather, please take the opportunity to clear out your attics and find those hidden gems!  We’re attaching  a list of the things and skills we need.  Bric-a-brac, toys, books, nearly new clothes etc can be brought into school from Wednesday 18 November in the morning and the afternoon, and Thursday 19 November in the morning and afternoon – that is at drop-off and pick-up times.

Also on Monday 16 November and for the whole of next week, there will be sign-up sheets on a separate noticeboard, near the front door, for parents to fill in their names for a volunteer slot.  This could be helping to set up, helping to run a stall or helping with the clear up and so on.  Please can you look out for the noticeboard and sign-up for something that is going to suit you.  We shall need a lot of help, and if everyone does a little bit we’ll get the job done.

Most importantly the money raised will go towards new science and technology equipment.

Also, for information, the entrance charge to the Fair will be just €2 per adult with the children going for free.  At that price we hope to make the event accessible to as many people as possible beyond parents and families connected to the school.  Please do invite your neighbours and friends along.  They will be most welcome.

And finally, if anyone works in the area and is able to put up a poster with good visibility to passers-by, we have plenty, so please let us know.

Have a great weekend.

Best wishes,

St Catherine’s N.S. Parents’ Association
