We seem to have created some confusion over supervision and, in hindsight, should have been clearer on the forms.
When we asked for supervision dates these were dates where parents would be available when there was no supervision. This was to try to save having to chase people to fill empty slots on the sign-up sheets. Should have been clearer – apologies
We only need a certain number of supervisors and clearly there would be dates where more than one parent was available

It’s a fantastic opportunity for children who love to sing and we have had students succeed in gaining places there before.

Open to 1st Class- 6th Class pupils.
Nora Artola and Shane Mc Grath, experienced Ukulele teachers will start a Ukulele class on Tuesday 24th January, at 2.20pm (for 45min).

Sorry about the late arrival of the Parent-Teacher Meeting roster this morning! We have had internet and printer issues…hopefully now resolved.
Tracy and Karen (Junior and Senior Infant teachers) have also made extra slots available on Monday and Tuesday 23rd and 24th Jan (Junior Infants) and Wednesday and Thursday 25th and 26th Jan (Senior Infants). There is a separate rota for those slots on the front door. So do sign up as soon as you can.

We are going through our enrolment procedure at the moment for next year’s Junior Infants. If you have a child who should be starting Junior Infants this year (don’t forget they must be at least four years old on or before May 1st!), but have not yet received an enrolment application form (a number were sent home last week in the older children’s bags), please email me and I will send one home, or drop into school and I can give you one.

Welcome back to a new term at St Catherine’s.
Just reminding you once again that school is CLOSED this Tuesday for staff training.
After-school activities forms are to be back in on Wednesday of this week and the activities themselves start next week (i.e., the week beginning Monday January 23rd). However chess coaching is starting this week – Senior Club on Monday afternoon, A team on Wednesday morning and B & C teams Friday morning.
