Dear Parents,
Hope the Nits had a total Nightmare. Minibeast Mondays are a thing of the past…
Some of you have been asking about who will be teaching classes for next year. This is not quite finalised as we still have some interviewing to do, but so far it’s looking like this:
Junior Infants: Tracy O’Donnell
Senior Infants: Karen Jordan
1st Class: Jane Honner
2nd Class: Not yet assigned
3rd Class: Stephanie McSweeney
4th Class: Jane Malone
5th Class: Fiona Gillan (returning from her career break)
6th Class: Caroline Brown (returning from maternity leave) and Roisin Judge, job-sharing.
Learning Support / Resource: Sharon Healy, Gemma McColgan and two other part-time teachers, not yet assigned.
Rebecca Burke is taking a second year’s career break but is hoping to be back in September 2017.
Parents of 6th Class will be interested in knowing more about how the job-share will work. There will be a meeting sometime soon (mid-May) where you will get a chance to meet Roisin, Caroline and me and we can explain how it will be organised and co-ordinated to ensure a great year for the children. We have experienced a job-share before with a senior class and it all worked very smoothly and well.
Kind Regards,
and thanks for co-operating and supporting the ant-nit campaign,
April.
