Thanks so much to those of you who have already contributed to our collection for the Galway Hospice in honour of Gemma’s brother. No pressure – every family has their own charity policy – but it’s not too late to send in a contribution if you wish.
The “St Catherine’s Got Talent” final is on this Friday at 10:00 am in the school hall. We are planning for it to be over by 12:00 – including judging, prize-giving etc.- when the Easter holidays will officially begin. Parents very welcome to come to the show, but there won’t be a huge amount of space – do come early if you want a seat!
We have a great line-up with a wide variety of “talents” on display. I hope all the performers will enjoy the experience, which we try to make as positive as possible. You can help by telling your child (if he / she is a finalist) that just getting to the final is a great achievement and that every judge’s opinion is different.
Unfortunately I am going to have to miss the event this year as I will be attending Gemma’s brother’s funeral in Galway. Best of luck to everyone and ….a very Happy Easter to you all.
Kind Regards,
April.
