Thanks so much to those of you who have returned the garda vetting forms as I asked. I’m appealing to everyone else to do so as soon as possible.
Stephanie is getting rid of some old library books. Please take anything from the trolley this afternoon, after which the books will be donated to a charity shop.
Looking forward to seeing you at the orchestra concert today. Children should leave their violins behind them after the concert unless of course they own the instrument.
A few people have been asking about dates over the next month. I have sent them out before but here goes again, hope I don’t forget anything!
1. We are closed tomorrow, Friday June 3rd, and re-open after the long weekend on Wednesday, June 8th.
2. Wednesday, June 8th: 6th Class trip to Glendalough.
3. Thursday, June 9th: Open afternoon for prospective Junior Infants: our current Junior and Senior Infants go home at 12:20 that day.
4. Friday, June 10th: whole school picnic in the Iveagh Grounds. We will walk the children up and they just need to bring a good picnic lunch that day. Closing at normal times.
5. Monday, June 13th: School closed for staff training.
6. Wednesday June 15th: 6th Class trip to Phoenix Park.
7. Monday, June 20th: 1st Class trip to farm.
8. Tuesday June 21st: 6th Class trip to Jump Zone.
9. Friday June 24th: Concert in Community Centre at 6 pm.
10. Monday June 27th: 6th Class Graduation.
11: Wednesday June 29th: Closing at 12:00 for summer holidays.
Hope that clears things up.
Kind Regards,
April.
