Please support the Winter Fair which is taking place this Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm in the school. It’s not just a Sale… there’s fun for everyone with loads of activities for the children and delicious lunches and snacks including a barbecue!
It’s not too late to donate, all (saleable!) contributions gratefully accepted. We are especially interested in raffle prizes so if you have an unwanted gift or can persuade a local shop or other business to donate goods or a voucher, that would be fantastic. Prizes for the raffle should be left in the small resource room at the front of the school. Everything else to the hall please.
The jobs rota is up on the door of the school. Do sign up to help out even for one hour, you’d be amazed how much fun it actually is! If you can’t make it in to sign up, just email me your preference and I will stick your name up accordingly.
Thanks a million for the great support at the orchestra concert last Friday. Well done to all the children, and to the staff for having them so well-prepared.
Don’t forget our Christmas Carol Service this year will be at 10:30 am on the last day of term, as usual, but the venue will be Christchurch Cathedral!! Very posh. Hope that will mean everyone will have a seat this time!
Finally, a big congratulations to Koren Turner from Senior Infants who has won a prize in the Dublin Fire Brigade’s very competitive Fire Safety art competition. Her picture will be included in the Fire Brigade’s calendar for next year. Well done Koren!
