There have been a couple of cases of “slapped cheek” syndrome in the school recently. This is a mild viral illness in children but it can be problematic for pregnant women. Please ask your doctor for advice and if your child seems offcolour, please keep him / her at home.

We have decided to go ahead with the Arts & Crafts afterschool activity this Wednesday, despite the school closing at 1:20pm. We have arranged for the activity to run from 1:20pm to 2:20pm, so if you have a child in Arts & Crafts please collect at 2:20pm.

The children have been given a schedule for after-school activities and a sign-up form. As the Parents’ Association would like Activities to start next week, please have the forms back with the fees by Wednesday 13th January. Do be aware that some activities are over-subscribed and it’s impossible to guarantee that your child will have a place in those popular ones! Please let me know if your child would love to do a particular activity but you can’t afford it at the moment – we do have a small grant available to cover the cost in some cases.
